 On Target Miniatures
is named for our 15 hand 1986 Pinto gelding Two Tone Target ("Target"), who has
been in the family since 1994. Following the second of his colic surgeries
(1998 & 2001) that removed a total of 30 feet of his small intestines, we
decided to buy a farm and bring him home. He was brought to our new farm in
2003 so that he could be on pasture continuously. We purchased our first
miniature in January 2004 to keep him company, and have never looked back.
Because we had been showing Target on the Pinto circuit (he won his Amateur
Championship in 2003), we decided on a miniature Pinto gelding that we could
take to the same shows. |

 Our
mission is to breed only quality Pinto miniatures that can be registered with
AMHA and the Pinto Horse Association (PtHA). Our breeding stock are carefully
selected for conformation, personality, movement, and bloodlines. We are
focusing on Rowdy, Blue Boy, Gold Melody Boy and Buckeroo bloodlines, and
excluding Appaloosa breeding, which is not accepted by the Pinto registry. We
have both Tobiano and Overo patterns, in a variety of colors. All of our mares
have at least one AMHA National Champion or Reserve Champion in their pedigree. |
